All complex cognitive acts rely on communication within neural networks, mediated by brain oscillations.

By establishing synchronous neural firing patterns, brain oscillations promote the information exchange between distinct neural assemblies.

Using various neuroimaging techniques (EEG/MEG, EEG-fMRI, and EEG-TMS) we investigate how brain oscillations give rise to complex cognitive processes in humans, with a strong focus on long-term memory and attention.
