Ute Bayer is a scientific cooperation partner of the of Social Psychology and Motivation. She worked as a research associate at the Max-Planck Institute in Munich. Her main research areas are motivation/volition (e.g. self-relevant information processing in different action phases, implementation intentions helps to overcome dysfunctional affective and motivational self-states) and gender research (e.g., carrier commitment of male and female doctor, the control of genderstereotypical thinking). Moreover, she has an education as a gestalt psychotherapist at the IGW Würzburg, and practical experience in counselling soft skills and motivational trainings.
