Which courses from other disciplines can I take as part of the 3-year and 4-year BSc Psychology?
An overview of courses from other disciplines that can be recognised in Module 20 of the 3-year BSc Psychology or in Module 11 of the 4-year BSc Psychology can be found in the Course Catalogue of the respective semester under "Interdisciplinary Course Offers -- Courses of the Faculties" in ZEuS.
Neither sports courses (e.g. sailing, climbing) nor courses offered by the Academic Sports Service can be recognised as courses from other disciplines.

Courses from other disciplines (Module 11)
The Examination Regulations (available in German only) of the Bachelor of Psychology programme stipulate that a total of 9 ECTS credits must be obtained from Related Disciplines. The list of eligible required electives can be found in the Module Guide (available in German only). Subjects that are not listed there cannot be credited as required elective.
The module is completed when you have earned a total of at least 9 ECTS credits, including at least one graded performance assessment. The module grade is calculated in compliance with § 16 para. 3 at the end of the 6th semester in the programme, i.e. from the performance assessments weighted according to ECTS credits. If you have earned more than 9 ECTS credits through a variety of performance assessments, those with the best grades are given priority in the module grade. Ungraded coursework is not taken into account in the calculation of the module grade.
Can I take courses offered by the Department of Linguistics?
Yes, you can take courses offered by the Department of Linguistics for your Non-Psychology Required Elective from Related Disciplines, with the exception of courses offered by the Language Institute (SLI). SLI courses, however, can be recognised as Transferable Skills (Module 1).

Module 20 in the Supplementary Modules section is completed when you have earned a total of at least 3 ECTS credits in the segment "Transferable Skills" and 10 ECTS credits with at least one graded performance assessment in the segment "Related Disciplines". You can take Non-Psychology Required Electives from the 1st semester onwards.
The module grade is calculated from the performance assessments weighted according to ECTS credits. The performance assessments with the best grades are given priority in the module grade. Ungraded coursework is not taken into account when calculating the module grade.
Programme structure and organisation

If you wish to qualify for the consecutive master's programme with a focus on Psychotherapy enabling further psychotherapeutic qualification, you need to complete Module 21 Supplementary Module: Psychotherapy (restricted admission), which, together with the clinical-psychotherapeutic internships (Module 18: Orientation Internship + Practical Professional Qualification I) fulfils the requirements of the licensing regulations stipulated in the new Psychotherapists Act.
