Programme structure & organisation

General information

The bachelor's programme in Psychology begins in the winter semester and is 8 semesters long. This includes a 6-month internship and 1 semester to write your bachelor's thesis.

Programme structure

During the first 4 semesters you will get to know the different subjects and methods of Psychology.

The 6-month internship is scheduled for the 5th semester.

During your 6th and 7th semester you will deepen your knowledge in the basic subjects that interest you and choose modules from the two areas of application: Work & Health Psychology or Clinical Psychology & Clinical Neuropsychology. You are free to choose modules from both areas. 

  • The following modules are offered in the summer semester: Basic Concepts of Neuropsychology, Methods of Work and Health Psychology, Health and Work over the Lifespan, Clinical Psychology 2
  • The following modules are offered in the winter semester: selected topics of Work and Health Psychology, Psychosocial Factors in Health and Disease, Clinical Psychology 3, Clinical Neuropsychology

The 8th semester is reserved for the bachelor's thesis.
