Overview of the study programme

General information

You can start the master’s programme in either the winter semester or the summer semester. The standard period of study is four semesters.

The study programme contains courses with a total of 32 ECTS credits and a master's thesis adding up to an additional 28 ECTS credits. All courses take place in the form of block seminars (Friday to Sunday) so that the degree can be completed while working. Students of the continuing education master's programme earn a Master of Science (MSc).

The continuing education master's programme has been available since the winter semester of 2015/16. The examination regulations ("Prüfungsordnung") can be found at Downloads.

Overview of the study programme

Course-related performance assessments must be completed in 4 different modules (8 ECTS credits each). In addition, students complete a master's thesis amounting to 28 ECTS credits. The study programme is structured specifically so that it can be completed alongside other courses and work responsibilities.
