Working Materials

We developed instruments as well as corresponding documents that are available for download (see below).

Appetitive Aggression Scale; AAS, Weierstall & Elbert, 2011

The Appetitive Aggression scale has already been used on more than 2000 participants and captures the degree of appetitive aggression according to 15 items. The scale is especially adapted to combatants or such population that either executed major violent felony or has been exposed to such deeds. The scale may be applied with clinical interviews.

The AAS is available in the languages listed below. All versions were translated and re-translated by native speakers and have accordingly been validated in clinical context. We would be pleased if you wished to use the instrument in one of your own studies, and gladly offer advise if you should wish so. If the instrument is not listed in the language you need and should you be willing to create an official version, please contact us. We would be pleased to insert your version into our website together with the respective links to your work group and your work.

In addition to the AAS we offer a scoring manual that may be used to train interviewers and to ensure the quality of the test.
