What experiences and emotions influence mobility behaviour? Why do we choose which mode of transport?
As a partner in the Baden-Württemberg Institute for Sustainable Mobility, we are researching the connections between mobility motives, mobility perceptions and mobility profiles in the „Why we move how we move“ project.
In 2023, in cooperation with SWR, the nationwide crowd science campaign #besserbahnfahren took place with a multi-method approach consisting of free registration, questionnaires and respondent tracking, in which mobility behaviour and mobility motives in connection with the introduction of the €49 ticket were investigated.
In 2024, "Why we move how we move" will focus on the topic of cycling and its determinants from a psychological perspective.
