Erasmus Blended Intensiv Programs

Funding for joint courses offered by several European universities

General conditions

  • Programme coordinator: University employee (= lead in the department)
  • Jointly designed programme with participation of teaching staff of at least 3 universities from 3 programme countries (excluding UK and Switzerland)
  • Universities from partner countries optional (funding mechanism still unclear)
  • Duration: 5 - 30 days of physical mobility
  • At least 15 mobile student participants plus teaching staff
  • 3 ECTS for students
  • Online component: before, during or after the mobility, collaborative online learning, exchange and teamwork; simultaneous processing as part of the learning objectives

Funding for mobile participants

  • Student participants: € 70 / day 1-14, thereafter € 50
  • Plus € 50 for Green Travel (promotion of sustainable travel) and additional travel days (with flat rate per day),
  • Further possible top-ups (additional lump sums) for special needs (depending on support requirements) or fewer opportunities (one-off €100 + travel allowance).
  • Funding for mobile lecturers is provided as part of the Erasmus guest lectureships. Teachers are funded by their home university/the sending university.
  • Overhead for the coordinating university: 400 € per mobile participant (depending on the number of participants € 6,000 - 8,000, which can be used to design and implement the programme. These funds can be used quite freely in consultation with the partner universities (assistant staff, printing costs, excursions, fees, final event, ....)
